Adventure Acres Land A Place in the Making

Adventure Acres Land is a developing land-based project rooted in stewardship, education, and community connection. Based in Southern Colorado, with active work already happening across Fremont County, this effort is focused on building something real—starting with the land itself.

Rather than beginning with development, the priority is simple: find and care for the right piece of land. A place that can support restoration, learning, and meaningful ways for people to reconnect with the natural world.

We’re open to conversations with landowners, conservation-minded individuals, and others interested in helping place land into long-term stewardship, restoration, education, or community use. This may include partnerships, donated land, discounted opportunities, or other creative paths that help make the vision possible.

Our Mission

We believe land is not just something to visit—it’s something to care for.

Adventure Acres exists to create spaces where people can engage with the land in a hands-on, meaningful way. Through stewardship, education, and community involvement, the goal is to build a model that supports both ecological health and human connection.

This work is closely connected to the broader mission of Adventure Acres Foundation, where programs, partnerships, and community efforts are already in motion.

The Land

The long-term goal is to establish a permanent home for this work—30 to 50 acres in Fremont County or the surrounding region.

The right land will:

  • Support restoration and regenerative practices
  • Allow space for education and community use
  • Provide opportunities for long-term stewardship
  • Grow into a place where people can learn from and connect with the land

This search is ongoing, and open to partnerships, creative arrangements, and conversations with those who share a similar vision.

The Work Happening Now

This isn’t a future idea—it’s already underway.

Across Fremont County and nearby areas, Adventure Acres is:

  • Hosting community stewardship days
  • Leading workshops on topics like pollinators, composting, and citizen science
  • Partnering with local landowners and places like Observer Ranch
  • Exploring ways to activate land through education and restoration

Each step helps shape what this project becomes over time.

Looking Ahead

Over time, this land will evolve into a place where stewardship, learning, and simple, nature-connected experiences come together.

Not as a traditional destination—but as a living, working example of what it looks like to care for land well.

Be Part of It

Adventure Acres Land is something being built step by step—through partnerships, community, and the right opportunities.

If you know land, own land, or want to be part of bringing this to life, we’d love to connect.
